James E. Reid, Esq.
James E. Reid is the principal of Advocate's Forum, Inc. He is also a highly respected attorney who limits his practice to personal injury litigation. Mr. Reid is a past Chair of the General Practice Section of the New York State Bar Association and is also a Certified Mediator.
Mr. Reid has authored several publications, including The Personal Injury Chapter in West Publishing's General Practice Text, a chapter on Jury Instructions in The New York State Bar Publication, and authored the initial chapter in The New York State Desk Book on personal injury. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, New York Super Lawyers, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World. He is a member of ABOTA and a Director of the New York State Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is a former United States Marine Corps Judge Advocate and a Certified trial and defense counsel before all Martial Courts, and is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Reid has experience both as a defense counsel and as plaintiff's counsel, understanding both sides of the lawsuit and the concerns of all parties. Because of his fierce reputation for integrity and neutrality, Jim is sought after by both sides to resolve claims either as a Mediator or an Arbitrator.
